CannTrust is a federally regulated licensed cannabis producer and a leader in the Canadian cannabis industry and a recipient of seven Canadian cannabis awards in 2018, including the top award of Licensed Producer of the Year.

The company occupies a 60,000 sf manufacturing centre in Vaughan, Ontario, Allyant was engaged as the Design-Builder for CannTrust’s laboratory expansion, aimed at improving selected lab spaces. Allyant undertook the renovation of the existing quality control laboratory to convert it into a product development laboratory, as well as the retrofit of an existing storage area to transform it into a process development laboratory.

Allyant customized new mechanical and electrical systems to provide the required precise temperature and humidity-controlled environments in the laboratories.
